Tulips Spryng Break

Yesterday my husband and I went to the Chicago Flower and Garden Show. We had such a wonderful time. So many beautiful flowers I was dazzled. So very nice to see all the tulips and hyacinths blooming. Many other flowers as well. But those were my favorite. And the smell was amazing.
The tulip area was my favorite area, even though hyacinths are my favorite flower the area where the tulips were blooming was the most beautiful. I took many pictures and this tulip named Spryng Break were among the most beautiful of all the tulips. I do hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Oh I can sense your joy from your written words. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the scents of the hyacinths because of my allergies. It would have me sneezing and coughing. However, that wouldn't stop me from enjoying the colorful eye candy

@fishtiger58 I would probably bring my sister on such a venture. My hubby wouldn't go with me even if I were to pay him. LOL. We do go to the fairs in the late summer. I get him to wander through the gardening displays with me. He is a fast walker though so I need to grab his hand and slow him down.

@ElusiveButterfly My husband is the gardener in this family. I think there were as many men at the garden show as women.

@LadyDuck I saw the most wonderful water yard display at the show, I want so bad but I'm sure it would cost thousands.

You did say you would take pictures and this one is absolutely beautiful of the tulips, the color is so unusual. Spryng Break is a very strange name and one you would not be able to forget. Glad you and hubby had a great time and were able to see so many different flowers.

Yup weird spelling of spring for sure. I took pics of all the names of the tulips so I would know them. No way I would have remembered all the names. I love these and hope to be able to find them sometime. Thanks so much.

It was the best area at the show. They had more tulips than any other flower, I stood there for quite some time ooohing and aaaahing lol.

@gudheart No I never do that, I prefer all natural with my photos. The only thing I do to my photos is to size them to fit here.

I love this color I looked online for this variety of tulip and all I could find were white and red ones.

Thanks so much, we all have things we like and don't like. I don't care for peonies they attract ants, but my hubby loves them.

I love the photo. I was hoping my tulips would be blooming soon but glad they are not, its supposed to freeze tonight. I'm glad you got there and enjoyed it.
