From the time we start walking til the day we die, all the ups and downs of l ife will sort of hone us and shape us i nto who we are as ad ults.Maybe looking back at the difficulties and tragedies we should be grateful for the bad as well as good as they probably made us who we are today. In that old hymn it states God is the potter, I am the clay. S o we are formed and molded and hopefully we become what is good in life not bitter and sour. I am not sure who wrote that hymn but I have always loved it for describing our spiritual growth.I think back over life and-sometimes use it as a guide.Adelaide Powell and George Semmons wrote the hymn Have Thine Own way Lord.
