My neighbor called to say she will be bringing me dinner tonight. I think it's very nice of her and love her for it. I love having meals on invite as well. I just hope it's cooked with salt in it. I know I am terrible with salt because,I like to eat it out the palm of my hand. But,I really love my food cooked with salt instead of shaking it on the top. So,do you shake up the flavor in your meals..

Salt and pepper used to always be on our table as a child, but we never use it anymore... and as little as possible in our cooking. It's great having high blood pressure lol!! I can still remember sprinkling salt on our apples.

If there's no monosodium glutamate, there must be salt in it. I don't like food that are tasteless.

I do add a little salt to some dishes then people are free to add more to their taste. What really annoys me is people who season food before even tasting it I always try to use reduced sodium salt.

@sharon6345 If I've cooked something I don't mind people adding extra salt but what I find rude is adding it before tasting If you haven't tasted it how would you know it needs extra seasoning?

I try to stay away with salt and use Mrs. Dash instead.

I think that food tastes better if it's cooked with salt and I use salt in my cooking. But it's usually less than required, I don't like tasting the food until it's ready so I prefer adding salt on the top if it needs more flavor after it's done.

That is great that you find it so. I do agree too just that.

I don't use a lot of regular salt. I prefer something with actual flavor. Such as garlic salt.

I love savory dishes so I always use salt. My country is surrounded by ocean so rock salt is very cheap and affordable here.
