About the new minimum cashouts.

After Alex told us about lowering the minimum cashout for a couple of months, I went to see what I had earned in March and discovered that I had a little over $1. That, in my country doesn´t buy much more that a loaf of bread. What brings me to the question if we are here for the money or is it another thing that moves us to write posts and answer comments. I can asure you that the amount of money I pay for the internet it a lot more than $1 or $10. But the fun I have, the things I have learned from friends aling the years here pay more that a lot of coins. I went away years ago when mylot changed. It was because my friends went away too and there were other kinds of conversations. And although then I did make the usual $10 a month, I was not here mainly for that. What is mylot for you, friends? Am I the only one who will br benefited by the $1 cashout for a couple of months? What do you think of it?

I know it's quite low amount but then we need to focus on mylotting regardless of the temporary earning schedule.

I earn more stretching my money when I go to the super and learning how to cook with cheaper ingredients. But for me mylot is not a source of earning (how can it be if I don´t earn more than a dollar or two each month?) but of exchanging ideas with friends from all around the world.

@marguicha On a serious note I get the feeling users will not work hard as they used to before to get to the 10 dollar limit.

I must admit that one of the reason I signed up to myLot before is due to the earnings it offer. But as I go along this site, I met friends and enjoyed the discussions here. I am learning a lot also from different cultures.

A loaf of honey wheat bread here is $5 bucks! But lowering the cash out is nice for the newer members of myLot to show that myLot does pay and to hopefully attract more audience / traffic to myLot.

I used the word "loaf of bread" but I wasn´t meaning a special bread. The kind you speak of is about the same here. I hope you are right in the second part of your answer. I used to meke the minimum at the old mylot because more people answered my posts.

The money I earn online helps out a bit here too. But I earn more in other sites. Boring: yes. But they pay more.

I don't really care too much about the pay, i guess. I am a quite no nonsense kind of person so I am very indifferent to a lot of things. Yeah when myLot changed I left and that was mainly because no one was interacting and it was getting swamped by spammers.

I did that too and for the same reason. I was very happy when mylot, the real one, was back. Yet not all the friends returned.

Based on what I read, we can have a minimum pay out for $1 and more. Thus if we have more than $1 on or before the cut off, it is most likely we can have the payment more than the minimum pay out value.

Of course. If we earn a lot, we are paid a lot. I wrote this post when I realized that my posting means around 10 cents a day, more or less.

I've noticed a lot of posts that fall far less than the usual quality since this move was announced. Like you $1 means nothing here. I do hope they return to either the $10 threshold, or at least $5.

I just turned on my computer so I don´t know. But I doný have much time to mylot, so I mostly interact with my friends and their posts are the same.

You can imagine that we cannot do a lot with 1 or 10$ here in Switzerland, it's not for the money that I am here, even if earning something is a little incentive.
