Emoticons newbie

I have been seeing a lot of my fellow mylotters using emoticons! I have tried doing it manually which is :-) or :p but it does not appear the same as theirs. I seem to be a newbie on this here in mylot so any chance someone can help me? :) <=== see!

haha this is cute. i guess theyve answered your question already. you can code it like [em ] happy[/em] without spaces, it'll still come out as this . glad that you finally asked. welcome to mylot.

I have been here for the longest time and I guess when mylot closed down, I did not bother asking but since I see a lot of you using it, there is no harm to ask --- right? and I am glad that I ask!

You not have to put code but simple use symbol from section and here code is different then other, welcome to mylot and have a nice day...

You have already got the answer from others. I was quite confused about what myLot Code is when I first saw it as well. I like to use emoticons sometimes, as I think it can better express my emotion now.
