Uncertain life

Earning is a part of life and without money you cannot live. What us somebody try harder but he/she cannot earn or get a job. Its really frustrating when one goes for many interviews and fails. Once a man shifted to another city. He has had fewer savings. He used up all his savings on shifting the new place. But new place was like a curse for him. He was unable to find a single job and failed every interviews he faced. He tried other ways but the people looted him indirectly. He has already finished up all his resources. He tried hard for jobs but no luck. Now, he has nothing but a dilemma. He has nothing to invest and has no money to return back. What would you do in this situation.

I would still continue looking for a job no matter how low the salary is or how degrading for some the job is as long as I'll have enough money to feed my tummy.

@adelevans In the situation you presented above, we have to work in order to eat.

Its really a miserable situation to be in. If I was at this situation, I would do honest self introspection to find out if I am really suitable or do I have the aptitude to clear the interview. If I feel, I still have it in me and its just a bad phase, I would continue the struggle for few more days. But when you self introspect, you know the honest answer and if it is negative, I would either change my track or field and try for something that suits my interest more. In any case, option of going back home would be last resort.

twas a risk he took. calling his family should be his first move if he wants to come home. or ask friends to help him out.

That is such a sad and scary situation. That is how people wind up homeless. I am so thankful I am nor in that situation and I hope to never be. I don't know what I would do. The man is trying. I hope if this is a true story and not just hypothetical that he is able to get a job soon.

The only thing I can think for this man is continuing looking for anything, anything at all. Even if its something unpleasant like fast food. At least he could do that until something better comes around. Its sad that some of us have those struggles. We neer money to have a roof over our heads and live. If he is a real person, send him our best wishes.

Did he ask why he didn't get the job? Maybe there is something in the interview process that he can improve on. I had the same job for 17 years, moved to a bigger city, and have not landed a job yet. I know some were because I didn't have enough experience in the field, it was more a dream job I wanted. Some other reasons were my schedule didn't work with the job. I am lacking in the interview part because I hate talking about myself, those questions always throw me off. Good luck to you. My next try will most likely be food industry.

His interviews went well actually. He is the HR and I guess he have all the ideas for interview. The thing that mattered is the references. As he was new in the city, he have no one known to provide as a reference.
