There is a piece on Facebook right now that is supposed to look like a breaking news story from a town in our area. It states that Meth that was brought up from Texas may have been contaminated with ebola, as well as ingredients to make meth being contaminated. People are being cautioned to have their meth inspected before using it. Some people, including some I know personally, are naive enough to be reposting this.Sharing it as if it is real news. The rest of us are shaking our heads and laughing. If I can find it again, I will edit and add a link, but I think someone took it down. So remember, folks, before you use your meth, take it to a hospital lab, or law enforcement and make sure it is pure enough to use. Here is the text portion "Breaking News: McPherson and Saline County Area Meth Supply Possibly Contaminated With Ebola. Meth recently brought in from Texas as well as the ingredients used to make it could be contaminated. If you have recently purchased meth in the area, please take it to the police or sheriff department so it can be screened with a special device. Do not use it until it has been checked for possible Ebola contamination! Please share." It was shown under a very "news ish" looking banner.

Have I missed April 1? I think I'm gullible but I wouldn't have believed this.

Now wouldn't it just "be the kicker" if a law enforcement agent had thought up this masterpiece? That would be ONE way of cleaning up the streets. I"m sure SOMEONE would be naive enough to do it too!

@GardenGerty I have a few naive people on my friends list as well. I usually try to steer them in the right direction if it's way too out there. An aunt was like that for awhile until she got used to what was shared and now tends to know what is and isn't true.

It seems a bit too early for an April fool prank, but this surely is one.
