Netflix for clothes

I can't remember what I was watching this morning, one of the morning news shows on NBC...But they were talking about this new thing where you could get clothes similar to Netflix. You pay a yearly amount. I think they said $120 something....maybe more. It was pretty expensive in my opinion. And you pick out three outfits that get mailed to you. Every time you send one back, you get another one mailed to you that you have pick out online. Like Netflix. Make sense? They were talking about all the benefits to this, like limited space in your closest. Fresh new looks through out the year. And stuff like that. What do you think about this? Would you do this if it were available to you?

This is a new idea. I suppose it would work but how long before the clothes start to look used? I wonder how well the idea will work.

@T_gray I guess they've thought it through pretty thoroughly. No reason why it wouldn't work.

I was just commenting about how they clean them and how long the loan them out before they get rid of them. I would have to read the fine print for sure.

I have never heard anything about this Tiff. Is it on the actual Netflix site? Sounds strange.

no, silly, it has nothing to do with Netflix. It just is similar to how Netflix works.

Cool I think lol. It's not often I buy clothes, the last time I did was for a wedding this time of year, last year.

This is very interesting. 120 annually is quite cheap if you think of all the clothes you could change into. I do wonder if that includes the delivery and the return cost? If the clothes were autoclaved or sterilised I wouldn't mind so much. I've worn hospital scrubs and they undergo sterilisation so it's not too creepy for me.

@T_gray If you see the fine print can you tell me if the clothes are branded as well?

Yeah...I was wondering about the cleaning of the clothes myself. I would for sure read the fine print on that one.

Sounds fishy to me but i would not try something like that. I would want to keep my clothes instead of keep sending them back and i wouldn't pay that price either too expensive.

Ooh I am not sure. What is it doesnt fit right or looks silly? And what if you get a stain on it? I would just rather go to the thrift store so I can destroy my clothes. Ha! But its an interesting idea.

Me too, I love the thrift stores...and they are cheap enough, when you get bored with them you can donate them and go buy more.

I am not sure I like the idea of renting clothes. I prefer to buy them, but then again some of those duff purchases could certainly go back.

@T_gray Maybe but it isn't new. My father told me about conditions when he was a child and how much of the household possessions were rented.
