When you don't know what to call it, You have to give it a name. Otherwise, call it the thing, And you shall share no blame. I own this thing. I love this thing. It's entirely true. It looks green. It appears red. This thing is crystal blue. This thing fits in my closet. This thing is with me at night. Oh why don't I know what to call it? It just doesn't seem just right. So when I'm lacking descriptive words, You can bet on your life I shall sing The praises of this magnificent device That I simply call "The Thing."

You have got me wondering what it could be. By the way in the last verse did you mean you can bet your life or did you mean the negative?
