Trying a new meal

Philippines
March 26, 2016 1:06am CST
So, last night the soup was not the problem, it was the seasonings I added. It has some usual veggies I've added, including cabbage and tomatoes. But this time I just decided to just boil them and not turn into a soup. I didn't add cabbage this time because it looked rotten , but I've added small portion of Ginger and half potatoes. There was still carrots and cucumbers on it but I forgot the bell-peppers I've also bought medium size meat loaf, and add wheat bread. There's rice underneath it but it's just small portion, so far the meal was good.

@Letranknight2015 That's really good. I think when we started to realize how important our health is and how the diet affects our health, we'll start changing our eating habit. I guess the simpler, the more natural, the better.

well, I just want to change my life style whenit comes to eating food. I wanted a permanent balance diet meal rather than just some thing i can hoard into my stomach

@Letranknight2015 Well for a Filipino home meal that's a bit pricey. I can buy 2 to 4 meals with that money back home. But it's reasonable if you think of the health benefits. I hope it's as palatable as it looks.

No, I'm not. my knee hurt after my last jogging last year and doctors found out about my gout and uric acid problem and over weight. so, this year I've really been serious with eating veggies. my mistake last time is that I added preservatives. my grandma tried to make me veggie salad but it was too many and I've had it @crossbones27

@Letranknight2015 Oh OK, that makes sense. Nothing wrong with it either way. I do hope it is helping you. Nothing wrong with a piece of chicken every now and then, if you are craving it.

@crossbones27 there's no chicken here, just a meat loaf, i doubt it's chicken. i just try to make up from the food i ate last night.

Wow! You are having a balanced diet. I like that meat loaf too. But we don't have it too often at home. Did you blanch those cucumbers? How does it taste? I eat them raw.

@Letranknight2015 I did not know that tune contains more acid content than salmon? joke only. But the fish is an excellent alternative protein for meats, hijo.

That was the same thing the doctor told me, but so far I've been struggling. I don't know when am I going to loose at least ten pounds but this month's another good start. @WilmaHenry54 nothing wrong with sweets, i eat a wheat bread after this meal or just drink juice.
