Knitting

Knitting Yesterday I posted I was knitting a top for myself which is something I never seem to do. It seems a little strange knitting for myself and using really large needles. I’ve never used the size needles before 15mm (US19). I’ve had the needles now for maybe a year or so but not gotten round to knit with them until just now. Well anyway I was knitting earlier this afternoon and thought why don’t I make a short video of me knitting, something I’ve not done before. So I made I short video of knitting one row of the sleeve of the top I’m knitting. I’ve upload the video to YouTube and now posted in this post.
Just a short video of me knitting one short row using 15mm (US19) needles

Lol I thought I was knitting slow with those needles until I looked at the video. On my normal needles I do knit much faster, I might have to do a video of that now.

@BelleStarr The needles are not as big as they look, it is an optical illusion because Kevin is only 14 inches tall.

Thanks for taking and sharing the video! It looks really fun to use the really large needles to knit. I'd like to try if I can find these large needles here, just for fun. I think you may be able to finish the top very soon.

@kevin1877uk Yes, I think it's fun to use the large needles, so you can finish the knitting piece faster. I enjoy the knitting, but I don't really like the sewing part, as I am not good at sewing at all. I guess your top must have been done by now.

It seem a stranger time of year to begin knitting a top. Surely you should have knitted that for the winter.

Well discounting the two days for summer, it will still feel more like winter. Summer and nice weather in the UK, year right, let me know when that happens.

We've got some of those fat needles lying around somewhere, so maybe I should use them sometimes. Only trouble is I like to watch TV while I'm knitting and with those I think I'd have to watch what I was knitting. I prefer using 'normal' sized ones. My Mom loves using fat knitting needles or crochet hooks though. I can't wait to see what the top looks like when it's finished

Yes it's a little different to normal size needles although I've still been able to watch some YouTube videos lol. Should be done tomorrow all being well.
