Cracker Barrel

My sister called and invited mum and I to lunch at CB. That is one of my favourite restaurants of all time. I had Country fried steak with double steak fries and water with lemon wedges. I love wandering through the gift shop area and just browse. Have you been there before? I usually grab a few Yankee Candle jar candles and wax tarts when I go, but most unfortunately the didn't have the scent that I wanted. The Jasmine scented candles and tarts were gone, they were no longer stocking them. I did find a summer scent called Pink Sands. I bought some wax tarts and a jar candle in that scent from there last month.

I have been there. Infact I have been wishing I could go again. I don't drive and there isn't anyone to take me. The only one we have here is way out on the edge of town. I usually got the fish with hashbrown casserole and greens. They do have a nice gift shop. I like their candies.

I haven't had their fish before. I usually get their country fried steak or the pot pie. Is the fish good?

@LisaSteinmetz ...It's fine. I seem to always get the fish if there is something decent on the menu. Maybe I will try the country fried steak next time.

I used to love the store too. They have restaurants in all the southern states. I didn't know this until I saw a leaflet in my fiance's car.

They have a big supply of Yankee candles. I could grow broke just on those alone.
