Happy Easter to all. I hope you are having a wonderful Easter Sunday. I was looking for a picture of an Easter Lily. I ran across this and decided to post it instead. Mine never bloom before Easter but I have heard they force lilies to bloom by Easter. Mine are usually a good month or more after the actual event. This is a shot of a dandelion after is has gone to seed. We all hate those weeds in our lawn and often spend time pulling them up. But as you can see they are really quite beautiful once they go to seed. Have a wonderful Easter all.

Beautiful shot, ma always called them blow flowers. Too bad so many people view them as weeds when they are actually edible and the yellow flower is really pretty .... we have a desert variety but I'm not sure it's as edible as those up north.

That could be a problem for sure. Do you have cottonwood trees in your country. When those go to seed or at least I think that's what they are doing, the cotton floats everywhere. It's amazing to see the lawns covered in cotton.

This is a beautiful picture of the dandelion. I had a childhood friend who loved blowing on the dandelions and making the fuzzy things fly off. I am so allergic to it, so when she would blow it... I would have to leave. I could not hang around or I would chock. I am so allergic to dandelions.

Every flower that we see in our gardnes were weeds at some time. Even roses. In fact roses still are in Kashmir. You find them all over the place. That is a pretty picture you have uploaded. Sad that we are ignorant about wild flowers as I just read here that these flowers are edible.
