I love animals. We have several pets at home - one dog named Barney. It is our dear dear friend, he is West Highland White Terier, if you know how these dogs look. Just white small dog ?
Then we have a turtle named Chicko. Unfortunately we do not know how old he is because we got him from my granny's friend who found him after a storm. But he is with us like 7 years now.
And we have a rabbit named Andy. It is the only female pet we have ever had. We found out she is a female after she started building her nest (fake nest, to be honest).
We had another dog, but he died in his 13, and a rabbit. And my sister had Japanese quail - it is the most unique and absolutely not often seen as a pet :)

@DomisTlapis He is an absolutely beautiful dog. So affectionate. How anybody could treat him badly is beyond me.

@WorDazza I understand you. I cannot understand how anybody can treat badly any animal. They do not deserve it, they have not done anything wrong. Sometimes the biggest monsters are people themselves.

@avi256 But that is why they are so unique. They are quite the opposites of the dogs. But that is why so many people like them more than dogs.

Yeah, well we do not have all the animals, some of them left us. But it is true, well, we love animals :-) Cats are not really welcomed here because my mum does not like them. She hates mice and other rodents with long tails, so she says cats bring mice home and so on. And we all trust the dogs more than cats - cats are not as loyal as dogs. But I like to cuddle them a lot when I have a chance :-)

We have a dog, a cat, a guinea pig and 4 rabbits. Our dog is a Golden Retriever and he is 6 years old. Our cat is a couple of years older. We got her from a shelter and we don't much about her previous life. She was very scared when she arrived and she used to hide all the time, but that has changed. Our guinea pig also came from a shelter. We bought two of the rabbits and we adopted the other two. They used to belong to friend of a friend, but he couldn't keep them anymore.

@Porcospino And that is wat is counting - that she is happy now. I always wanted to know if animals forget parts of their life. Or if they have memories too.

You are so kind that you adopted so much animals. So kind of you! We bought our Westie, but probably just because we wanted this breed after our first one and he was available. But he is our love.
Your cat probably did not have nice life before you, but the more she is with you, the more she is happy and satisfied, I can surely imagine.

I had two cats when I was little. I also had a dog when I really little, but we gave it away because I'm afriad of dogs. I don't have any pets right now.

I love pets. Right now I just have one cat named Milo. He is 6, and I have had him since he was a ktten. I lost my dog last year. My life is kind o influx right now..but when I know what I am doing, I will get another dog.

I looked up for photos of that dog breed. They sure are cute! I wonder why you named him Barney. We also have a dog at home, my nephew named him Chucky and we just accepted it.
I also have a lot of fishes of which I cannot give a name one by one. One day, my nephew pointed on a fish and kept on asking what its name was , I have to come up with a name. LOL

What name did you give to that fish? It had to be a decision of the moment :-)
We named him Barney after Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother. It was my sister's idea. And it is not bad at all. Our dog listens very good when we call Barney :D
Chucky? This is an interesting name. How old is your nephew?
