What Is It with Google AdSense?

Life is hard enough for the online writer, without advertisers looking for ways to diminish payouts.
Each and every day... EACH AND EVERY DAY... I see Google AdSense deleting a penny or more as click-visits go up. Now let's see. What goes up should go UP. Not down.
Guys: get a clue. If more people visit my blog and click on advertisements, I should get ***more*** money, not less.

I am not but what is the alternative? Have you tried any of the other options?

That's the trouble. I'm not convinced there are any viable ones for me.
