Super Charged !

After the 2 days holiday last Maundy Thursday and Good Friday in addition to the Saturday and Sunday weekends, I am super charged .
I actually spent them at our hometown , in my parents house sans my husband , who took care of my in-laws .
My cousins arrived from Manila and also my friend from Canada . So , those days were filled with activities .
And yesterday , Easter Sunday , our clan on the father side had our reunion . We held it at the clan’s beach resort . There were lots of people frolicking and swimming at the beach . 
As usual , my favorite food, lechon , is amongst the pot luck foods.
So how’s your Easter Sunday, guys ?

I just stayed home. Did you eat much with the lechon? Have you worn your bathing suit to swim in the beach, my lady? You look so pretty with your shades and your smile

Not much . Only the skin and some lean parts .
How i wish i can still wear a bathing suit . I already have to hide some varicose veins .

By the way , the one standing in pink /white shorts is our bunso , while the one beside me with his apo and a cup in hand is my third sister . I am the eldest of 5 siblings , all girls .

@SIMPLYD you are the oldest? It looks like you are all of the same age.
well, if you worry about those varicose veins, then you should have put a long and big "balabal" on top of your legs ah, so you will still look sexy and prettier in swimsuit.

Wow! It seems you are all artistahin, my dear!
BTW, I also love lechon. But, when a Doc said it is not good for my hypertension, I really have to shy away from that, even a tikim only. You know, once I do that, more will follow. Spell: Takaw! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Lechon , that is my favorite and i guess for most of us . My father , a diabetic is also being cautioned for eating that. Though he only eat in moderation .
Good that you really are so in control of yourself . But i think in moderation will not hurt you because anyway , lechon is only for special occasion , which is seldom .

Sunday was pretty much the same. they all went to the church for the Easter Sunday mass. my brothers family came around lunch time. Then we had early dinner altogether. My nephew made my day who sneaked in to the kitchen and made a mess with the bananas. Most the time was spent watching movies with the kids.

That's nice , because at least the family is together .
If it were not for the reunion , i would just be at home with my husband after attending the Easter Sunday mass .

@SIMPLYD Easter is not considered being a grand event here. Just some good food, some phone calls and a pleasant time here at Solitaire which is a daily affair for me.

Wow, congrats friend, We celebrated Easter with my nieceand her hubby who have just arrived from London.I was so happy for she gave me 10,000 for shopping.They also brought lechon, grilled tuna belly, escabeche and more. Until this day, my stomach is still full.

Yes, the whole Holy week was fun indeed . Specially when my cousins arrived from Manila .for the reunion .
But normally also , if not for the reunion , we just stay at home too, since it's too hot to be outside , though not on the beach .
