Hello and Good morning to everyone after the wonderful Blessings celebrated over the Easter week-end.
Just a recap on the Birthday happenings: It went well and thank you to each and everyone who sent M such lovely Birthday messages on my previous post.
Now she is well on her way to being a "Grown Up" as they say, but in my eyes, still my baby.
The rest of our week-end was bowls, and sunrise breakfasts but yesterday I decided to spontaneously travel a little further a field.
I haven't seen my eldest sister since my father died which is almost 5 years ago, so I packed the car asked who wanted to join me and went to visit her. Its only a 3 hour journey, but normally I plan them.
Wonderfully it turned into a great Luncheon at a place called "The Victorian Secret" . . . and we had Aunts and Uncles, cousins, as well as second cousins join us. Almost like a little reunion!
The food was disastrous but the company was exceptional!
A little soul restoring, a little heart uplifting, to think that a little spontaneous travel can do all that.
Today I am off to buy my youngest grandson Birthday gifts - yes its plural as I want to buy him lots and lots of things!
How has your week-end been, and what are your plans for today.

We have a 3 day weekend this week. Day one we went to a memorial for one of hubby's former co-workers. Today possibly going over to a relatives house or just hanging around at home.

My husband and I are always taking long trips on the spur of the moment. We are from the northeast and moved to the south four years ago. Out kids and friends are still in NJ and if I am feeling a little lonely and need to see them, we get in the car and go. It is a 2 day trip for us but we stop along the way to sleep over night. We never tell them we are coming as we love to see the surprised look on their faces.

I spent my weekend at my parents' house. Now, I'm back and I've got tasks lined up for my clients. I'll just work.
