The Groovy knows no bounds. Case in point, I love 60's psychedelia, which is back when things really were Groovy. When I fall into a 60's psychedelia binge, I inevitably begin with The Byrds' "Eight Miles High," a Top 20 (#14) single here in the States. The song saw it's share of controversy. Depending upon which theory you believe, it is either about a flight with the band on board, or it's about drug use. Either way, it's Groovy. Check out this live performance linked below. It's really awesome.

Now that's a 60s classic. Don't forget Incense and Peppermints when it comes to 60s psychedelia.

I loved that song the first time I heard it! Plus, I've always dug the name Strawberry Alarm Clock.

They also did some great Dylan covers and a very good take on Turn Turn Turn which is actually the book of Ecclesiastes set to music

Oh, they were a great band, without a doubt. Definitely deserving of being in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
