We call our furbabies several names. Our Beagle Faye I call fefe a lot. It’s like a nickname I guess. Sometimes I call her FayeFaye and baby girl too. Our Terrier mix Penny, I like to call her penpen for some reason. I also call her panini a lot. Her middle name should be Jumper as she can jump very high and from a long distance away. These two are spoiled fur babies.

Scar most likely thinks his name is 'Goofy' or 'Bubby', since I use those two terms quite a bit more than his actual name.

@JolietJake Is Scar cold? He looks like he's closing the window (or at least trying)!!!

@Berniezeitler He's got this thing when he wants the window opened, and soon as I do it he spends a minute rubbing his face against the lower part of the frame and then settles down and starts watching...boy is goofy.

Our son's pup is named Eleanor, but she only gets that when she's bad, otherwise its Ellie, or Elles or Ellie Belly or my personal nickname for her which is Muffin. I guess its easy to nickname our pets since they cannot tell us to stop as a person would.

I don't have cats as my pets but I have two puppies and my daughters called them chin and chan. Not so nice names for pets but they did that since I'm forgetful now and they thought that names would be easy for me to memorize.

our names go from funny to rude, depending on the behaviors at the time. Cam is often fattifat. Nibbler is nibnib or buttface, because he can be such a pain with all his puppy energy. Gizmo is gizzy more often than not.

My cats have nicknames. Mostly the big male, Lep. His full name is Happy Leopard but we also call him Atilla The Hungry, Tyrannosaurus Lep, and Leppity Lep. One of our female cats who is named Kiddoe (from the character in Kill Bill, Beatrice Kiddoe-better known as "The Bride") we call The Little Diva. The kitten Lizzie hasn't gotten a nickname yet.
