Rhinos and, Elephants.

The black Rhino's last real home is Africa, sadly they have been killed off from most of their original habitat, due to the ivory trade, one of the most disgusting and, sickening trades, to ever exist. I can't even imagine committing such a atrocity. Anyway on this show planet Earth Africa it showed Rhino's actually interacting with each other and, becoming friends. I never knew Rhino's did that, also due to drought a lot of Elephants were dying off, especially the babies, it was a very sad thing to see and, the mother refused to leave her baby until it died, finally a group of people got together and, they decided to build a underpass under the highway, which was blocking the Elephant's from their original feeding grounds, almost as soon as it was built the animals went through.

I had no idea rhinos befriended each other like that. Interesting.

Same here I thought they were solitary animals, except for mating.

Isn't that amazing that the rhinos began using the tunnels? That really is good news. It seems really difficult to stop the poaching.

Yes, it was amazing, but it was actually the Elephant's that did it, not sure if Rhino's also use it, but they probably do and, yes it's no easy task, but still more that can be done to lessen it at least.

@TRBRocks420 Sorry, I misread it. :) How's Rooger getting on? I'll get to one of your more recent discussions soon.

How interesting! What exactly do rhinos do that shows they interact with each other? That's very sad about the mother elephant and her baby. :(

Nothing to extravagant, but they eat together or nudge each other, walk together, protect each other, things like that.

That was a great solution. We humans have such a negative impact on wildlife habitat; we should do what we can to soften the blow.

I agree awesome solution and, yes a lot of humans are just so greedy and, take way more than they actually need, but glad there is some good hearted people too, that still care and, try to help.
