Go Ahead And Make My Evening

Time to go home

People are now time traveling. This made me think. What would happen if the unthinkable happened? You have rearranged the time axis so that you pass straight from the afternoon, (the siesta) to the night. That is when you begin doing your homework have supper and go to bed. Hmmm... what happened here? Did Jimmy drop and break the vase? No, the evening is gone! The time when the birds fly back to the nests, the time when the sun turns reddish and pinkish and slowly sinks to her bed, the time when sportsmen and sportswomen chase after a ball or each other, is all gone. Granted that such a thing happened and you have the power to change the position of the afternoon, would you: a) Put it ahead of the morning? b) Put it in the middle of the morning? c) Put it back where it belongs? d) Discard it all together (you can use the hours at some other time of the day)? And Why?

I like it as it is as I love how my morning is, same with my afternoon, and my evening too. Hmmm, i just realised, I am so contented with how thins are on my side.

Are you absolutely sure? Maybe the afternoons can be cut short and made into evenings? But then you are the boss.

@gofsey I'm pretty quite sure, because I love my evenings as well. I teach until midnight and I feel comfortable teaching online when everything is silent at home.

@toniganzon That is nice. We shall not make any changes. And did you find something to do before you reach your milestone?

I would leave it as it is but make it last longer. Afternoons go too fast for me.

Right, point noted. The alarm clock is the culprit. Maybe we must go straight from night to afternoon. It bears thinking about.

@gofsey I am just not the one that loves early mornings and getting up out of bed when it is cold!

@gudheart Sure thing. Scientists are working on substitutes you can use when you are not feeling up to it. Right now you can wake your dog up and send it to answer the doorbell or fetch the newspaper. The cat is still not leaving the bed.

Sounds like just a dream to me. I think I will just take each day as it comes, don't want to go back or ahead.

I'm mostly a night owl, so I'd go with night or very early morning.
