Two Days and Too Busy

The past two days have just sucked up my time and I had lots of things to do and didn't have much opportunity to sit here at the computer and chat.
Yesterday flew by and I don't even remember what I was doing and today I had to take my mom for her doctor appointment and that just sucked up a good part of the day. It takes both my daughter and myself to get her to the doctor and it's an ordeal and exhausting.
Now it's time to cook dinner and I realized another day has slipped by without much interacting from me.
Here we are at the end of another month....it's probably redundant to say that time is flying by.
Hope everyone is having a good day and I was going to wish you all a great weekend but realized that it's still only Thursday and I thought it was Friday (DUH)

My mom uses a walker but taking her anywhere can turn into an ordeal

The amount of time spent driving to and from doctors appointments, and then the endless waiting seems to use up so much of our days.

Its ridiculous how much time one doctor appointment can take....I dread days like this

@Marilynda1225 my dad has a monthly Drs appointment. It is a 45 minute drive to get there. Then we rarely wait long, but the appointments run around 45 minutes, then another 45 minutes to get home. If we need to stop for bloodwork or at the pharmacy it takes even longer. Every now and again we end up waiting for a long time to actually see the dr.

soundslke you have a busy life.good that you and your daughter are taking care of your mom. I know some of us o ld timers have to have a lot of help and it sounds l ike
you and y our d aughter have a mom who does need a lot of help. I feel for you as it can be exhaustlng caring for a senior citizen

I've been taking care of my mom for the last 7 yrs & it can be exhausting both mentally & physically

@Marilynda1225 bless your heart for dg that so many here in my area just sti stick mom in o ne ot the retirement centers and forget them so sad.

I have had a busy week and it is going by so fast. Hard to believe that we are at the end of another month.
