Two Days and Too Busy
March 31, 2016 4:17pm CST
The past two days have just sucked up my time and I had lots of things to do and didn't have much opportunity to sit here at the computer and chat. Yesterday flew by and I don't even remember what I was doing and today I had to take my mom for her doctor appointment and that just sucked up a good part of the day. It takes both my daughter and myself to get her to the doctor and it's an ordeal and exhausting. Now it's time to cook dinner and I realized another day has slipped by without much interacting from me. Here we are at the end of another month....it's probably redundant to say that time is flying by. Hope everyone is having a good day and I was going to wish you all a great weekend but realized that it's still only Thursday and I thought it was Friday (DUH) I think I need a vacation!!

@Marilynda1225 my dad has a monthly Drs appointment. It is a 45 minute drive to get there. Then we rarely wait long, but the appointments run around 45 minutes, then another 45 minutes to get home. If we need to stop for bloodwork or at the pharmacy it takes even longer. Every now and again we end up waiting for a long time to actually see the dr.

You do need a vacation for sure. So much for you to do, but glad your daughter can help with your mom. My sister and I came to the conclusion this year that no way can only one of us get Dad, soon to be 95, to and from emergency rooms, walk-in clinics, hospitals and doctor's appointments.
