Good luck. Get a vapor pen. Might help a little bit easier.

Thanks, Nikki, but I'm taking a more natural route. I don't trust the vapor pens.

Well firstly I seriously appreciate that you want to quit this habit. There are literally a handful of people who decide and actually go through this. Okay see you need to start slowly don't try to completely cut anything. In a day just count the number of cigrattes you smoke and then try to reduce that number slowly slowly.Like if for example you smoke 10 cigrattes a day reduce that number to 7 or 8 per day.Practice this until you become comfortable with 7 and then again reduce that to 4.Gradually you will surely be able to quit smoking. And look whenever you have a craving to smoke try an alternative a better one like a chocolate or a normal chewing gum.Don't try anything that can harm you in the long run.Try having a chocolate or a chewing gum or try doing something that would distract you like gyming or exercising or talking to somebody.Try slowly yet just don't give up ever.Quitting a habit takes time so be patient with yourself alright. You will surely be able to quit this habit. :)

Shubhu, slowly cutting back is the approach that I am taking. I have also been using a couple of hypnosis videos along with quit smoking affirmations. This is about the 5th time that I've attempted to quit this more than 30 year disgusting habit. I Need to Succeed this time.

try to reduce the number of sticks everyday.. you can also replace cigs with candies whenever you feel like having one. goodluck, you made the right decision.

Good for you. I am so glad that you made such a decision. I know it is not easy, but I believe you can make it! Whenever you feel like smoking, you can try to do something else, such as doing the housework. This is my dad's method to quit smoking. I hope it will be helpful for you, too.
