This morning I am elated with the payments I received. I thought it was enough to make me happy the whole day. But no, other than the honor award given to me by my daughter last Tuesday, there still more surprises for today. Today, my son, again made us proud. He moved up and will be in grade 1 next school year. He also got a special award. Most Improved student in Kinder 2. Our hearts were so touched. You see, my son has some developmental delays in him. It is yet to be confirmed if he has mild autism or just developmental delays or behavioral disorder as per his developmental pediatrician. He is for observation for a year. This year, he made remarkable changes for the good of course. He has a lot of improvement on his manners, behaviors and even mentally. And he has now a sense of belonging in his class. He is an inclusion class, meaning he is joined in a regular class and he coped up. We thank God for this. Though it is difficult to cope financially with his therapy and school, my son and God gave us reason to pursue and persevere more.

Congratulations on the medals that your kids gave you. Patience is the key to success so be patient because it is still a long way to go for your son.

@Yar_Joey oh yes. That is the reason why I gave up my work to be with him instead of paying a nanny

Wow. That is great! So far my son is doing great, a little bit delayed but everything is good. I just talked to her teachers and got his card. His performance is good and his grades did go up.

Congratulations! I am sure those are the best gifts for parents. I think every child is unique and they have their own time to develop in different areas. I am sure you have been really patient and showing love to your son, hence he has been improved so much. Well done, mom!

I was so nervous during the ceremony of my son since he is at the verge of having a tantrum but he pull through. It just mean that he is able to control his emotions somehow. And that one great achievement for me already. Thank you!!!

I am sure your son will make friends with his classmates. Once that happens, he will enjoy going to school, and he will learn as well as his classmates. just hope that he makes friends with those who are keen to learn, and not slackers.
