Bullying Women

I am the kind of man who need a firm kick in the pants from time to time to ensure that I am properly motivated. Those who know me of old will know that occasionally I have been known to write the short stories but that they can be few and far between.
This morning a friend said that I needed to get creative and that if I didn't she would stop baking the cakes for which she is well known. There is no way that I can have the the knowledge that she abandoned her own creativity because I cannot be bothered with mine, so I have relented and am now a thousand words into my first story for some time.
I have noticed that the only people who have ever managed to get me motivated are women. I have no idea why and although I have titled this post 'Bullying Women' I am of course talking with my tongue firmly in my cheek. I love it - but you know that don't you?

We all need a kick in the butt at times, glad a woman could motivate you. Whatever it takes! =)

I feel like I could say the same about myself - my family is run by women, if you grew up in a similar situation then maybe it could have something to do with that

I mostly write short short stories - a thousand words in and I start to get bored or tired or both. Good luck with your story. Is it going in a competition or something?
