We all went down to the sea.

After walking in tbe hills yesterday we went down to the sea. The tide was out, turning to come in again, and what water was left swilling around the harbour was slack and oily. The last of the day's sun settled some of its light on the water for a while then moved off to sit another while on the small tractor in the field across the bay as it moved methodically back and forward breaking up the ground, the sound of its engine never making it as far as us as we sat on the harbour wall at the end of the day.

I think you will enjoy the sea more when you are on board a cruise ship. at least you do not get to see the oily water.

The sea is a wonderful and peaceful place, and I must say I really do love it! Blessings
