Early morning stress / myLot

We were already at the airport and we were met by the announcement that our flight was cancelled due to power outage in NAIA, Manila. Oh my God, I panicked because we brought with us a roasted pig for the christening party of my granddaughter. Good that the other airline was not affected with the power outage, so the roasted pig was sent to said airline. I paid another fees for the transport of the pig. Thanks God, the pig arrived safely and when I called my son at 12:00 noon, they were already having their lunch with the roasted as one of the menu. I am happy, at least they had eaten it. At the same time sad because I spent so much for the calls I made to inform them of our situation. Just imagine, the noise that happened at the check in counters with so much complaining and anger. Everyone is in the hurry to leave. We could not leave today but we are scheduled to leave on connecting trip via Cebu City.

I usually listen to the music and get the stress off. It works sometimes and most of the other times it does not at all.

The stress was gone after the roasted pig was sent off thru the other airline and after we got our schedule for tomorrow's trip.

don't feel bad about your phone bill. if the roasted pig was delayed or spoiled, that would have been a much bigger amount lost/wasted.

You are right. I was glad the roasted pig was not spoiled. Their guests enjoyed eating it.

Thanks at least by lunch time, the roasted pig was already in the banquet table at the party in Cubao. LOL. But it was really stressful. Anyway, I will be coming over tomorrow by connecting trip via Cebu City.
