Doves and, Crows.

I just took Rooger on another walk not too long ago and, this time we saw one of the Doves, but I also saw a giant black Crow, they didn't appear to be fighting or anything, but I did also hear some calls and, was kind of wondering do Crows hunt Doves? Anyway when I got back I decided to do a little spring cleaning and, ended up burning a couple more bags of garbage. I have a very interesting post coming up soon, from science and, history, but I will wait to do that until later. I still have more hiking to do. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

You've been doing a lot of walking. I saw a dove in our backyard yesterday and watched it for a while. They have the cutest little faces.

Yes, they are very pretty birds. I hope the Hawks and, Crows will leave them alone.

Mourning Doves make such weird calls at times. Birds are very active here today. You'd love my deck cause it looks down on whatever the water way is that is being increased. Tons of loud birds.

@TRBRocks420 I think we get more ravens here than in Western WA or Western Oregon. Those cries!! "Rolooooo like they are gurgling. No wonder ravens are revered by the Natives.

@TRBRocks420 And I forgot to mention that on the other side of that waterway there's a whole bunch of dirty Holstein cows- between one hundred and five hundred. Poor gals that give the stores milk. I wish they had pretty pasture.

I will probably never be able to tell a crow from a raven! I've heard that ravens are larger than crows? And ravens make a kind of rolling noise that crows don't.

I'm not sure if crows hunt doves actually. I have noticed around here though, that crows will fly around chasing a smaller bird. Like a sparrow or something. I see this quite often. I also heard once that apparently crows can remember a humans face for a long time. Not sure about the time but was years that a crow can remember. So basically don't pi$$ off a crow because he will remember you lol

Nice question about crows hunting doves! Another addition to the list of animals Rooger has seen. Rooger has seen more animals than me.
