It is sad that some animals know true love but humans have to learn about it. In the world of animals, you do not see young animals kill their parents for money. Many animals are paired for life, and divorce is not in their vocabulary. Many animals do not fight over money or over possessions. While it is true that some animals do not have concept of love in their genes, most will take care of their young, and their kinds. You probably have personal experience of team work in the animal kingdom. If you use a stone to hit and kill a crow, you will be an enemy of all the crows in your area. Even if you walk among thousands of others, the crows will pick you out of the thousands. They will take revenge for their fallen comrade.

Animals have hearts and far too many humans do not.

ah humans have hearts BUT they have been corrupted by social intolerance, political aversion and religious control . . . not too mention an ego which enforces logic instead of compassion

@enlightenedpsych2 That is true. Many humans are not kind anymore because they do not see a need to be kind to others who are not kind to them. In a sense, society has changed due to bad social influence.

@scheng1 yes indeed the bad social influence which is truly rooted in either ethnocentrism or monotheism . . . both of which create more dissention and division of the human race

Animals are amazing and can be very loving. I remember watching a video of a lion that had not seen its owner if years and when reunited it ran up to him and gave him a big hug!!

Yes, that is amazing. Even pet dogs and cats can sacrifice their lives to save their owners. Sad to see that many people do not even treat their families kindly.

Sadly what you're saying is true. Sometimes animals act more humanely than humans.

@scheng1 I don't know how this role inversion came about. It's not sounding too good on our end.

You have a point there. Animals just follow their instinct to love .

Animals are not affected by commercialism too. That is a plus point. At least they will not kill each other for the sake of getting more material things.

@scheng1 True. They only kill for survival or if provoked.

As human beings pay attention to the profit so much. And therefore they are much more selfish than animals. Sometimes it is hard to believe that this world is run by human beings which have so many shortcomings.

haha, that is true. If the world is run by cockroaches, perhaps there will not be so much wastage! Cockroaches are marvelous in their instinct for survival, and for eating practically everything, and they have been around since the age of dinosaurs. Just too bad they are not smart!

Love is an incredibly hard concept to follow. While we say we do the things we do for love we actually do them because that is what we want. It just happens that some people are kinder than others. Perhaps "kindness" is what we should strive for.

True, many people do not "love". They "possess" which is very different from love. I think they want others to listen to them even if they are dumb, and stubborn. Being kind is a good quality.

Unlike animals, humans fall into the need for greed. That's one reason I love animals so much. They really do give unconditional love.
