It's Not Just The Heat!

It's summer here in the Philippines. For a number of years, I thought summer is getting hotter every year. I don't even want to ride my motor bike on a sunny afternoon like this. However, I realized it's not just the heat. Humidity is already at 49%. Wow!

@hereandthere yes because Panay island is still like a tropical paradise whereas Manila is all buildings and comcrete, and come to think of it, my city is one of the cleanest and greenest in metro Manila, wonder how others are doing

@louievill i wonder if it's because of all the concrete, steel and glass - houses, buildings, roads @jrlcentral because it depends on what is the normal average temp where you are

Yeah, MM is closer to 40° I think. But 32° is no way comfortable.

40°! Wow! You are in Zamboanga, right? ( i checked your profile). The brownouts are caused by this heat or rather by the El Nino, I think. The dams dont have enough water to produce sufficient power.

@jrlcentral Yes! Exactly, and now the clouds are dark in here right now at this time, I think it will rain later on. Atleast it is not hot anymore :)

Weather patterns seem to have changed in the last 10-15 years. Summers are more intense and winters are shorter.

I do not think I would even want to exist anymore if i had to deal with that humidity. Here in Arizona it gets very very hot, up to 48 degrees celsius at times but there that humid. It gets to about 22% humidity and I'm done, I do not want to do anything.

@jrlcentral Oh yes people have fried many eggs on the sidewalk outside. We are not that hot yet but it is getting there. Thankfully today is a nice cloudy day!
