6 April 2016 Update: Snow, pain, tests, and therapists -- busy day!

Today has been busy busy. It started off with my therapist, who was pleased that I am exploring Chinese calligraphy and art. I really need to loosen up my watercolour technique -- I do very detailed work. Then it was onto the coping skill of Radical Acceptance. My least favourite coping skill, by the way. Next up was across the street at the hospital with more blood work for the upcoming endoscopy. Oh joy. To make it worse, I fasted, as I had no idea if it was needed or not, and no one bothered to let me know. Grumble. Then J suggested that we head off to the local brick-and-mortar bookstore. He puttered about in the blu-ray and music section, while I creeped off to the cafe, and read a sample of a Tad Williams novel. I also picked up a new magazine on royalty, called The Crown. Of course the lead was on HM The Queen and her 90th birthday. More waiting was involved while he went and took care of the grocery shopping. The next stop was supposed to be a local Chinese restaurant that we both like, but unfortunately there was a bad accident, and rush hour to boot, so we ended up going on a long detour to get around it, and NO CHINESE FOOD! After grumbling from J and the tired old question "What do you want for dinner?" -- I am a wreck, and do not want to cook, and he won't -- I phoned out for delivery. So it goes...
