This morning, my son accompanied me to get my new ATM card from a bank. This is the bank I mentioned in passing, in one of my discussions. We both left home at 8:30AM because I now know that the bank opens at 8:30AM. I had my number at 5002, and what was flashed at the LED TV was 5001. When my number was flashed, I immediately went to the bank employee to get my new ATM card. I was surprised because my card is now a debit card as well. I asked my son if I can use my card to withdraw my PayPal money and he said yes. Now, I have 2 debit cards, MyWallet (RCBC) and Land bank debit card. What debit card have you registered at PayPal?

I have a question regarding PayPal and withdrawal. If I do not withdraw yet my myLot payout, is it okay? I want to leave it there first since there is a fee for falling below minimum.

@nottoooldtowrite yes, you can let your money build up in paypal. the fee for transferring money from paypal to your phil bank if less than 7k is 50pesos. at the current conversion rate, you will need more than $150 to reach 7k.

yes my friend. You can not withdraw your money from PayPal. I plan to reach P7k so that there will be no fees deducted. Our money stays there and there are no deductions whether they stay for long periods of time

it is easy to get the LBPP debit card my friend. my first card was dormant so I was advised to get a new one and I was surprised really, because it is now a debit card. I used my driver's license and my SSS card to reapply

I haven't linked any to my Paypal Account. I remember I just transferred my Paypal money before to a friend's Paypal and he's the one who withdraw the money. By the way, which debit card is better to use?

MYWALLET from RCBC is my first debit card linked to PayPsl. I plan to register this LBP card too, but on second thought... When you apply to a debit card at RCBC, it is possible that there is a zero amount to get active, but the registration I think is P100, when I applied in 2012. Maybe the fees are more now?

@LdeL0318 I have my MYWALLET from RCBC, my friend. I also suggested this card to many of our friends in bubblews, and I think it was second to EON that the card was linked to PayPal.

@ridingbet What is that MYWALLET ? Does it have a yearly fee too like EON . Does it not charge a fee when you transfer from PayPal to it like EON ?

@ridingbet You mean aside from Paypal's 50 pesos , MYWALLET also gets 50 pesos each time you withdraw the paypal remittance ?

my MYWALLET too is for my online money, but I have no bank account in RCBC while I have a savings account in LBP. I think it is also good to have my LBP debit card submitted to PayPal so all my savings will go directly there, am I right, my lady?

I used my RCBC MyWallet in verifying my PayPal account and that's also what I am using in withdrawing my PP funds. But it will expire on 2017. I wonder what will happen once it expires. Can I renew it? Retaining all the bank details so that I don't need to link another bank card? I also wonder how much they will charge if I will use Landbank visa in withdrawing my funds. RCBC charges P110 for each transfer, the third lowest charge that I know among the banks here in the Philippines.

When I had my Paypal verified Ate, I first used a Metrobank credit card. Then, when debit cards were given a go to be another option, I opened another account with Metrobank.

@ridingbet I haven't checked my PayPal account in a very long time Ate. But yes, I used my Metrobank debit card. My account is on a hibernating mode because I haven't been active in a long time with my online paying sites.

@ridingbet I had my first EON card after I graduated from college. I used it to withdraw my payment via paypal. But after I got a regular offline job, I think I will no longer use an EON card. It expired and it was hard for me to apply for another because the bank is quite far and I cannot leave early from work. That was why I decided to just link BPI bank code to my paypal. However, aside from paypal's deduction on my money, withdrawal in BPI atm has a fee too. That is why I tried to get a new EON card because it is practically much better.

nice ,my friend. I also believe we can have the debit cards when we go shopping rather than have money because they can be snatched or taken away from us. But we must be careful about dealing with our cards.

@ridingbet paypal fee is $5 any amount withdrawn because it's a visa debit card no bank account number unlike Unionbank EON you have a 16-digit visa card number and a 12-digit account number :)

@rina110383 but your BPI ATM is not a debit card? If from PayPal to our bank, there is a fee, but if the amount you transfer is P7k then no fees will be charged. MYWALLET I think charges P59, if I remember right.

Make sure you withdraw to local bank account number, not to card number because the fee and processing time is different. I made that mistake when I was a newbie I always transfer PayPal funds to card and charged $5 (P250).
