If we want to establish peace then we need to be able to trust one another, and this is achievable if all countries readily destroy all their nuclear weapons. If there is to be justice then all need to follow the same rules. Otherwise for self protection from the big bullies smaller nations will start production causing tension in their own regions. It is logical right?

Science is to be used for the good of mankind, not its destruction. So sad.

I doubt if that will ever happen because there is no trust of any other countries.

@vhpsandi It is a vicious circle as one does not seem to trust.

To build trust this is the step to be taken. But need trust to take the step, vicious cycle.

The question is, does mankind really want world peace? Are all nations in agreement in this goal?

nukes are just tools they wont ensure world peace by getting rid of them. the only way to have world peace is to stop having differences or not let the differences cause us to fight over them but that wont ever happen.

Being logical doesn't mean it will happen.
