I am feeling so grateful for the varieties of fruits , veggies and other delightful to eat produce that Mother Nature provides .. And very grateful for the taste buds and sense of smell and other senses that we are gifted with ...
How privileged are we humans! .. We should really try hard to live in harmony with Mother Nature ... Not abuse it .. Not drop bombs on it.. Not over fish the ocean and not over logged the forests.. And not over populate the planet..
Most of all eat to live, not live to eat..

Oh, I love fruits like strawberries and grapes but they're costly here so I just have apples and papayas right now.

I am sure at times like this, you are also grateful for being born in the right country.
Many people in other countries do not have the money to buy all sorts of fruits to eat.
They just have enough to fill their stomach, and possibly pay electricity before it gets cut off.

@epiffanie Actually Philippines is a great country for agriculture.
There are all kinds of fruits and vegetables growing there, but the income of the people may not allow them to have all the food they like.

Yes I guess am lucky to live in this country ..But I wasn't born here so I know what it's like to have nothing as I was born in the Philippines in a desperate poverty .. I am grateful for the change of luck .. It's a fluke that I ended up in Australia .. I don't take anything for granted ..

@scheng1 Yes I know, but it is also true that many Filipinos don't like working on the land because they think it is not good job.. they look down on farmers over there.. Most of them would rather work in an air conditioned office ..Many don't even think that they can grow their own veggies in a pot if they want to so they don't have to buy..

I love all fruits except for Kiwi . But the most that i like are mangoes , oranges , Davao pomelo and durian . Though here fruits such as those are so costly , we get to eat them sometimes only .
But we do have lots of pineapples and bananas . They are mostly our fruits at the house for desserts .

True. :) Nature really provide us with abundance but unfortunately we don't take good care of it. Hopefully humanity will realize it before it is too late.
I really like fruits. I is delicious and healthy and at the same time. Your picture makes me crave for some fruits. :)
