I can't tell you how long it took or how many words I've added in the 37 chapters I've completed on Freedom's Cry. There are only a couple paragraphs started with chapter 38 and that is where I will start to finish the book, starting tomorrow. I do have the last seven pages of the book finished, so now it's getting from where I'm at to the end point so I can call this one completely finished.
I've also finished the last round of notifications, so that means it's time to head on to bed before I'm still here when the sun comes up.
It's been a great day and I hope it continues.
I hope your day is going well wherever you are. Thanks for reading.

It really is. Now I can finish the book. Still has a long ways to go before the end.

I'm not finished with it yet. I'm now advancing to the end. I can't tell you how long it's been since I started this years ago and set it aside, brought it out, and kept setting it aside. It wasn't until I published Stowaway that I got down to really working on it, since it's the last in the series. I published Stowaway in 2014. So this last push as been as long as two years.

@Drosophila Yes, it's quite involved and it does take a long time. There are days when I can barely punch out a thousand words and then there are days when the thoughts come fast and furious and ten thousand is not problem.

@mom210 I started work on it again today. To tell the truth I was at a loss how to get started again, even after reading it all so I would know what was going on. But I got hold of it and I'm on a roll again. It's going slower, as it always does when you're writing and not just reading. My fear is that I'll mess up the story. But so far I never have.

@just4him guessing not, if you have kept it intact that long

@Jessicalynnt Any change to the end at this point will be minor.
