This is Spring Right

When it finally does it will probably be like most years - go straight to summer.

@Elizaby That's about the way it is here as well, oh we don't run the air in winter, but spring is up in the air whether I turn the furnace off or leave it on. I had it off more than on in March. So far I've had it on every day this month.

@just4him Here you never know from the end of October to about mid April if you are going to run the heat or the air, but once the last cold snap has made it 'a appearance it will be hot til October again

You are, sadly, in the state of Texas and can be excused.

@Jessicalynnt Sadly, you will never, as long as you remain in Texas, be subjected to winters harsh winds, wind chills, be seen in heavy parkas, layered to the point you can barely walk - I remember the snowsuits of my youth - However, sadly, you will also never make snow angels, snowmen, or ice skate - outside - indoor rinks do not count - as long as you are in the state of Texas enjoying sunshine and warm weather with pesky insects flying around you and invading your space, having to take more than one shower a day just to get rid of the sweat moving causes. The air might be sweet with the tantalizing smell of flowers, in the state of Texas, but it can't hold a candle to the wonders of winter in Wisconsin.

@just4him No, we're only 45 minutes east of Detroit MI, and we have similar weather.

@Juliaacv Yes we do, and I'm almost certain that I'm north of you if you're close to Detroit.

Isn't that normal though for Canada? Even this time of year?

Cheer up, one day you'll look outside and spring will have moved to summer and the heat to go with it.

We had nice weather today, but the temps are dropping at the moment. It was very cold coming out of church just now.

@Elizaby Yes it was, and I only had my light spring jacket on, because that's all I needed today, until that moment. I'll be wearing my winter coat again to pick up my son from work in another 45 minutes.

@just4him One good thing about spring storms is that the snow doesn't stay on the ground long.

Thanks. Now that I have a camera I have it out and ready all the time. We were supposed to have a blizzard a couple weeks ago with 8-14 inches of snow predicted. It wasn't a blizzard here and we got 6 inches. Today they're predicting 6 inches in areas and I think we're going to get it.

@just4him Ah yes! It was gloomy all day with little sprinkles in the AM, now it's sprinkling some more. We do need the rain so I don't mind.

We're starting to feel like spring here. Our snow is almost gone again and we're supposed to get into the 60's this week.

@just4him ohhh that's ok then.... don't tell anyone ...but i was kinder hoping it would snow while I was over here in england... as i love te snow too... lol's

Doubtful. I like snow. Our roads are fine. It's only sticking to the grassy areas, as the picture shows. So not bad to drive in.

@just4him I still would love to see snow I like it. We actually had about 4 inches two years ago.

@marky7 Going two years without snow is difficult for me. I lived in San Diego for four years and Guam in the middle of that time, and not seeing snow especially at Christmas was very hard.

Do you like the change from snow to no snow? We've got nice spring weather now and we've mowed the lawn for the first time a week ago.

Somehow they always do, don't they. Winter will be finally hushed into silence and spring will don her new green coat and the sun will shine and life will renew itself.

I saw that on your profile. It makes me wonder when winter will give up. Not like we even had a decent winter this year. Another warm one with not much snow. So maybe winter is making up for it now.

That feels more like summer than spring. What are your summer temps like?

So unseasonable is everywhere.

It was beautiful coming down as it did. It was still snowing when I took my son to work for 7 PM. The winter warning is in effect for another 50 minutes.
