In the pink ....

Inspite of several serious down pours yesterday, and last night ...., i'm pleased to see this pink Camelia survived ...., sometimes if the rain is too heavy the flowers can look a little soggy...., and their delicate petals can get damaged.
I saw this yesterday and thought... oohh, I'll take a photo of that for mylot.
Then the rain came.., again and again ..., and I laid in bed wishing I had taken the photo when I first saw it, because I didn't think it would look so good this morning after all that rain...., but, I was wrong... there it was ..., in the pink .... blooming in all it's glory....
I was very pleased ..so I popped outside quickly, to take it's photo, to share with you all on here and hopefully brighten someones day....

i'm so thrilled't wasn't destroyed by all the rains coz its a beaut! particularly appealin' with the droplets'f rain still 'pon its petals 'n what a lovely color! shame those won't grow'n these parts, i'd get me lots to plant if'n they would :D

I'm glad it's brightened your day.... I was surprised that it was undamaged... and the water droplets on it look nice...makes it look extra fresh ... lol's

@sueznewz2 Yes it really is lovely. I know the rain can damage camellias easily but the droplets just enhance this one.

That is beautiful. I love camellias. My neighbors used to have a big bush, but after they moved out the new people dug up the yard and installed concrete.
