Scary day and night

What a distasteful moment. The announcement has just started.Someone with a megaphone roam around the streets now shouting " whole day blackout today " at 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..Then after few minutes current no more. I still continue Mylotting for my lap top is full and my wi fi full. I may be able to reply your nice interaction in the evening here once current is back. This is now the beginning of the Calvary of the people in Mindanao and other places in the Philippines to suffer series of blackouts. The source of our current from the lakes : Lake Lanao in Bukidnon , and Maria Christina Falls in Iligan city are getting thinner. We have long drought here in our country. We have to be extra careful this time for the extreme temperature may cause fire. One forested area in Davao city sought help from United States to stop the fire in the mountain until now spreading. The help would arrive this day , the fire fighting planes from United States,to stop the fire that spreads almost 4 hectares now.Oh, God, scary to the max. May rain come.

4.000 American troops are now here for the annual "Balikatan" war exercises together with their Filipino counterparts, they brought a lot of equipment including planes, amphibious landing vehicles, tanks and even missiles that were live fire tested. With the enhanced visiting forces agreement, I think they would be leaving a lot of materials for the 4 or 5 bases they have chosen and they would man on a rotational basis, hand in hand with our troops , so God bless our countries

@cacay1 It's good you can still be online even if there's power outage right there. If that happens here, I could no longer log in unless I go to another town or city and rent a pc.

i really feel bad for my fellowmen outside metro manila because where i am, we seldom have water shortage or power outages. at least it was announced, so you get to prepare and make other plans.

@hereandthere, I left home for malls to cool myself. My siblings go to beach and swim there for fun.We just locked our doors and gate. When we arrived home, it is blackout,I am thankful I still have current of my lap top, but it most likely want to show low bat signal few minutes from now.huh huh huh.

@hereandthere I think summer time before is not like summer this time. It is extremely hot this time in our country, unlike before. There was not heard of heat wave / heat stroke before. This time, there are always daily victims of heat stroke. When I was young, I can suffice the hotness of the day, this time severe, cannot be tolerated, so scary. It seems it burns our skin.

I'm so sorry that you're suffering from such shortage in your part of the country. Fortunately, Iloilo doesn't have a rotational blackout.

@louievill, the problem is the source of current getting slimmer, Lake Lanao, Lake Buhi and Maria Christina Falls. It is extremely hot in Mindanao.
