I quit my job for myLot

Probably you are screaming "WHAT?!? HAS THIS GUY LOST HIS MARBLES?!!" Before you think of anything else... I will have a confession. The title is only half true. It's a crazy idea of mine to catch your attention. Hehe It's true that since the first of April I no longer have a job. Yes , I quit my job as an I.T. Administrator. That's the true half. The not so true part is I did it for myLot. Not entirely anyway. The real reason I quit my job is I wanted to become a freelancer both online and offline. Gotta cut this short. My toddler is calling for my attention. Hehe.

I hope that things work out for you. It might makes things a little easier for you. You can be your own boss in a way, and you don't have to commute to work.

Actually I had been freelancing before. I guess the job that I have just left have enhanced my skills for my field. I have some offline prospects waiting for me now.

@jrlcentral WI admit you did a good job attracting my attention! Very smart! I was a little worried when i read it and said i hope the author knows what they are doing! I am glad you are going to try freelancing!~ I have the freelance books oof were to send my writings but didn't get to read much of them. I am now going to attempt it as you inspired me! i just may be able. I did start writing a book Friday night it meant to start as a writing exercise, but i decided today too make changes and turn it into either one story and write the stories in a similar style for the short story book. i am going to have fun i writing this book or first of some short stories and i am going back to researching the first book of what i hope will be a series maybe later tonight and going to look for my freelancing books and try it! Good luck freelancing and i wish you success and that you make enough money to live without the job!

I think with your skill, you can easily find home-based jobs in IT. There is no need for IT professionals to be physically present to resolve an issue. They can solve the problem remotely.

That is true and that's the side i am exploring further. For now m best skill on network design and intallation which requires my presence to get the job done. M building up my web development skills though so i could get online jobs as well.

As an IT admin, I guess you see a lot of opportunities out there in the online world or you wont quit on your work. I once checked a website for freelance jobs and IT works are highly on demand. Good luck to your new work path
