This chicken and egg arrived at the same time

They both landed on my pre-workday sandwich yesterday. When I do work, the amount walking and dealing with people takes a lot of energy. So, if am going to work at 11 AM, I eat and early bow of cereal (to keep the wolf from the door), then at about 9:30, I sometimes have an egg and toast. But yesterday, since I had some good deli sliced chicken, I fixed a sandwich on sourdough bread with a microwaved egg, a slice of pepper jack cheese, the chicken and used some sweet pickled peppers, since were out of pickles. I threw on some mixed greens too. It was delicious with some corn chips. But, no matter what time or how much I eat before I leave, I get hungry by 12:30 or PM. Fortunately, due to the big sale going on, the store owners had lunch brought in, so I was able to eat again. It's a good thing that I don't gain weight easily. Ever had a chicken and egg sandwich? What is your favorite sandwich?

I don't think that I have ever had chicken and egg sandwich. My favorite is probably Turkey and provolone on whole wheat. We used to get a good turkey downtown when I worked at the telephone company. It had cranberries and cream cheese on it. Very tasty.

I wanted to take on a lot of protein since I knew that I would be on my feet and walking for five hours with a short break for lunch.

@JamesHxstatic I don't wait that long. I have one at least every other month. Otherwise, I eat no prepared meats.

That sounds really good. I'll have to try it. I wonder if egg and chicken would go with provolone. That's my favorite sandwich cheese.

BLT would be my favorite. I've never had a chicken and egg sandwich or turkey and egg either as I can't eat chicken.
