The Ratcliffe brothers and sisters: Front Row - Sherri, Julia, Shirley, Terri, Steve Back Row - Me, Jeff The people that had a major impact in making me who I am today. Unfortunately, we very seldom get together these days with everyone present. I want to say this was 2010, but it may have been 2011...last time all of us were together. I love this bunch and would do anything I can for them.

Do you live a long way from each other? 5 or 6 years is a long time to go without getting together. I have two sisters who live quite a long way away but we get together at least once a year.

My oldest sister lives about 3 and a half hours away, and her job involves lots of weekend work

Maybe you could organise a gathering every 2 maybe 3 years. Seems a shame to go without seeing each other.

@JolietJake That's pretty good. There are still plenty of you to go round; add the spouses and kiddos and you have a real crowd.

It's a perspective thing, if you look at the bottom you can see by my shoes I am directly behind her

Thats a lovely photo. Why don't you get to meet each other? Is distance an issue?

My oldest sister doesn't want to make the 7 hour drive there and back in one day, and her days off normally won't let her spend the night here

I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters, I am the 2nd oldest. We get along pretty good, my one brother is in Alabama the rest of us are in Illinois, so we are able to see each other on a fairly regular basis.

We never give a time to celebrate this kind of important occasion for the siblings. What we celebrate Mother's Day which we borrowed from the Americans. Anyway, April 11 is the sibling day in your place. Happy Siblings Day.

Never knew you had a family this big. It was years ago that we got together - the entire lot. 5 girls and 3 boys. I have lost my 2 brothers and one sister since then.

Another lovely family group. Vince is one of 7, one now deceased, but we do manage to get together reasonably often. Everyone gets so busy but at least we are all in the one state with not too much distance between us.

You're a good looking bunch, and you're lucky to be part of a loving family. My family no longer gets along, ever since my Dad passed away.

Too bad you can't get all together often. I can't either as we live too far from each other.

I don't see my siblings enough especially when my one sister moved to Ireland. I see my other sister every couple of months which is good. Then there's the other sibs from my biological family that I've not seen for some time now...but that's another story
