Former Miami Dolphins linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, 28, has signed a contract with the New York Giants on Sunday. Sheppard was a third round draft choice of the Buffalo Bills in the 2011 National Football League Draft out of Louisiana State University. Sheppard played linebacker for the Bills from 2011-2012, the Indianapolis Colts in 2013, and the Miami Dolphins in 2014-2015 before he became a free agent at the end of the 2015 football season. Sheppard visited the Giants last Monday to seek employment with his fourth team in the National Football League. Sheppard was not the best linebacker stopping the run during his final season with the Dolphins which has Giants fans scratching their heads why would they hire Sheppard to join their team since he will likely be working on their depth chart behind Jaspar Brinkley and Keenan Robinson during the training camp sessions later this year.

I guess this guy is lucky to get a job since he doesn't seem to all that good.

You are right since Giants fans are screaming that the team is wasting their time with Sheppard trying out to make the team.
