Eye doctor called

I went to the eye doctors back in February and OHIP covers the cost of the exam. Here in our province if you have certain eye diseases, or other disorders on this list they cover the fee. So for years they covered mine no issues, well this year this switched doctors. I knew the minute I walked in there would be issues. Well I got a call Friday evening saying my health card isn't valid and they need the number or will bill me. For starters I am not paying and it is $95. I have to call tomorrow and read it off to them. I am sure it is just a simple error of them writing it down.
