Why are men big babies when they are sick?

I noticed that too. I don't have the answer though. I think its because we let them...i baby my husband when he is sick.

I think men dont retreat back to childhood they never left it completely and there over exagerration of illness is still leftovers from their childhood years ..they know coughing real loud, clearing their throat, sniffling will draw attention..but let you get a cold and cough and sneeze and do they notice..not!

It seems to be the way of the world lol. The women always have to be strong and carry so much on our shoulders, so we are expected to carry on when we are sick. Most men (not all) seem to go back to when their mother's took care of them when they were sick and expect us (the wives or girlfriends) to do the same. I think it is unfair, but it is a hard habit to break them of.

i have no idea.. they act worst than the kids do... but when we are sick.. oh..its no big deal

hence why WE birth the kids!!!! lol

i don't know, but it's true and very unfair! i wish i could lie around and whine and be cared for just once!!!

Thats is so funny, its a guy thing. Whenever my husband would get the sniffles and would whine about having a cold, I would ask him if he wanted to go to the emergency room. If he got a paper cut he would go on and on about it, finally I would ask him if this was a 911 call. Men are big babies.

Haha..It's simple...us ladies are stronger. I think too that they usually feel the need to act like a machoman when they aren't sick...so when they are sick they suck up all the suckyness they can.

Women are just that much stronger than men are. My husband always has aches and pains that keep him from doing things, but I just keep plugging away no matter how I feel. I think it's always been like that and probably always will be.

its their form of showing weakness.

Well I am not going to argue this as this probably applys to most men, not all though. here the rolls are reversed. my wife is like a big baby when she is sick. when I am sick I just say i am sick and keep going only a little slower than normal.

I have no clue. That is a good dang question!!!! Better yet, when a women gets sick, why does the same man say, "Awww, your not sick!"That's it! Next time he tells me that he is sick, I am just going to pull the man thing and tell him, "Aww..rub some dirty on it. You'll feel better!" hahahaha

Because they can be we let them get away with it and if you dont wait on them they will just call there mommys

ause they are little babies n a normal day so than when they are sick they beome bigger babies. lol
