Imagine a box of assorted chocolates sitting in front of you. Unprotected and there. Do you: sniff each one? Stare at each one? Do you whine that you wanted milk chocolate and here's only dark chunks? Or maybe you wait until everyone but you leaves the room then you take sample bites out of each one- and when somebody enters and glances at the candy, you blame say your sister or brother for the interesting candy?

@hatley You could at least use the chocolates as weapons- I can see you lobbing hard, stale chocolates out your window at folks who litter or leave cats to fend for themselves.

@Hatley Lobbing hard candy chunks out a window is better than sitting around bored.

I am very picky about my chocolates. Very few tempt me.

@Tampa_girl7 Crunch and munch. I'm rather addicted to them, too. I remember one time we found sunflower seeds super coated with chocolate. Oh my who let us out of the starting gate?

As FG famously once said: Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll gonna get. I'm actually a so-called expert on chocolate boxes already! My expertise refers to my knowledge that there is usually a guide that comes with these boxes which tells you what kind each is. I usually go for the salted ones!

@sallypup Oh I've learned to! Some of them are just too (nasty) sweet. They usually mix the unpopular variety along with the good ones!

@bounce58 Nasty chocolates are what husbands are for or maybe they're for folks who show up without warning and we never wanted them to visit in the first place.

@TheHorse I think Freud was the guy who stunk the Yankees out with his big ceegar.

@DeborahDiane Do you know about Kinder Surprises? Those chocolate egg goodies that had a toy in the middle? The toys used to be cute and plastic. Now they may be paper.

@MGjhaud What was that stuff that Harry Potter was doing? He had weird flavors of candy. I think even dirt flavored.

You should not blame others for what you do. Take one and eat it but do not take bites out of each candy in the box.

I carefully look at the little chocolate diagram to find my favorites and nab them when someone offers me the box.

I very rarely eat chocolate myself. When I do it's usually got to be chocolate with nuts in them.

Thank you for joining this crazy discussion, @LisaSteinmetz. Its starting to look like a strung out chocolate wagon train. So: filberts over almonds or walnuts?
