Mylotting Between Steps

Right now my laptop is at the kitchen table as I begin preparations for dinner tonight and will be doing some mylotting between steps. I have got garlic and onion peeled ready to be chopped up as I sear the chuck roast shortly, but first I have salted both sides and am letting it sit to help draw out moisture so that I can get a good sear (something I learn from watching all those cooking shows). So after I post this I will sear the meat and chopped the garlic and onions, then add them to the pot and saute them before adding water and putting the meat to simmer. Then I will be back here after also putting on some butter peas or field peas to cook. Then all that will leave is to put rice on about 30 minutes before dinner and make gravy from the juices in the meat pot. Just typing this is making hungry. time to get started.

That sounds good. I can close my eyes and remember being in my grand mom's kitchen smelling the good smells when she cooked a roast. Miss those days and her. Enjoy your dinner. Have a blessed evening.
