Random Word Post – bicron

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “bicron – The one-billionth part of a meter.” I’ve done some science in my time, and I’ve come across microns before, but I don’t remember ever hearing of a bicron. So I’m guessing it’s technically a word, but the people who would actually need to use it, use different terms.

I vaguely heard of the term, I'm not sure if I saw it scrolling through the internet or if it was something I saw on the Discovery Channel.
