Quite simple, everyone thinks Lars is a skinhead. A big Nazi plant.
They do know Tim has no hair also and a big tattoo to replace it.
My boys though who showed me a better way. All about laughs but when they can stand up to your cries.Rancid racist? That is about as laughable as it gets. I could show you hooligans but one song is all that it takes. Change on that also standing up for Katrina

No way! I am an avid Rancid fan. Too much of their music is about solidarity for me to ever believe they are racist. I am trying to think of lyrics right now but coming up with a blank (hey, its early). A lot of their songs have the theme of togetherness and unity. One song - I think its Avenues and Alleyways (alleyways and avenues)? Where they explicitly say something about having brothers of all different colors. By the way have you ever gotten into their side bands? Ie Lars Frederiksen and the B words? (Ha) they are amazing. Also the Transplants with Tim and Rob Aston are good in a different sort of way. I recently saw Tims other side gig Tim Timebomb and Friends. They have a couple good songs but I still cant make my mind up about how I feel about them!

Fair enough, they are different like punk rock.Others see it different. Half the band is Operation Ivy and no one can mess with that,

@maezee Someone with Lars other band. Probably dumb but you know when you know people's hearts. You hang on to that and pretty much my frustration.

People don't realize that there actually are non-racist skinheads out there. I used to hang out with them. They used to go up to Denver and rumble with the racist ones. Cool guys.
