Disappointing

As I described in another post, I have a mental health case manager. She's supposed to help me with various things related to mental health and my goals. My goal right now is simple - stay out of the hospital. The past few days, I've been having feelings which usually build up until I end up in the hospital. Yesterday I tried to call her 3 times, no answer. This morning I got a hold of her as she was going to a meeting. She said she'd call me back after the meeting. Guess what? She never did. I left her a message this afternoon asking if she knew how much strength it took for me to reach out to her for help, and that she'd really let me down. I bet I don't hear anything from her at all.

Is there anyone you can report her to? She is not being very professional or caring at all. Of course you may get the "very busy, not enough workers to help everyone" type of answer. It is common everywhere. I was seeing a psychiatrist who reported to my doctor that he couldn't see me on a regular basis but if things got worse I should be hospitalized. I'm shaking my head at all this. I feel for you. It sucks.

Oh, it sounds like shes doing a poor job of being a manager. Shes suppose to be there when she was needed and maybe she has reason for it , but either way she should contact u back knowing that you are a client. I wish you good luck. Hope by now you have heard anything from her and if not consider hiring a new one.

Maybe you need to find a new manager, and report her.

She doesnt sound like a very good case manager for you. Can you get a new one, one that is a little more available? It just doesnt seem like she is not doing you any good
