What's Up myLot?

What's up myLot peeps? Hope my local connections are waking up to a fine morning. For those living in the other side of the globe, hope you are having a good day so far. Same thing to the myLotters living in the other parts of the world. Been sneezing the whole morning. I was timing my run and exercises with an occasional sneeze or two. Allergies, gotta love 'em. Insert sarcastic emoticon here. Do you have allergies? How do you deal with it? i know I'm allergic to hard work and being poor! LOL! ========== Should be a light day today at work. It is always a light day for me at work after coming off my days-off. I don't dive into work at all . After lunch, that's when I go full-throttle! Anyway, got an invite from my boss to join him in a managers meeting. We have some big wigs coming over today and they want to sit down and chat with the locals. I know there will be more similar sessions happening so I politely begged off this time. Just not in the mood. Do you ever decline invitations from your colleagues at work? Even from the boss? ========== My excuse was that I have boxing sessions. Part lie part truth. I did box but I could have moved it at a later time and still attend the meeting. Like what I said, part lie part truth. Now, one boss wants to join me in my boxing gym. My chance to hit him and inflict pain is upon me. I know you want to inflict pain to work mates. Question is, how much? Did you ever want to inflict pain to your work mates?

I don't have allergies. I always decline invitations from colleagues. I prefer resting after work. Going out with them makes me exhausted (actually just the thought of it drains my energy) No, I never inflicted pain.

Never inflicted pain... but do you have plans to? All work and no play make Rina a dull girl, yes or no? Good for you if you don't have allergies.

@allen0187 No, because I don't have workmates. I work from home now. Even if I have, no plans. No. I consider work as fun. I work from home so everyday and every task is enjoyable. Now, that is play.

I have been working quite hard in the previous few days on my software project, I think I'll take a break from the project, and let myself rest more. I am feeling very tired these few days. 1) I don't have any allergies. 2) I'd decline the invitation from my colleagues or even boss, if I don't feel like going or if I have other appointments. To me, boss is just another person, I am not afraid of turning him down. 3) I guess if your boss wants to join your for boxing, you can just treat him as a person who practice the sports together with you and not treat him as boss or work mates. As I said, I always think boss is just another person, nothing special. But, of course, it also depends how your boss is. If he might get angry with you and make your working life miserable, then.... you'd better think about it.

I am allergic to you. But because you're my twin brother...i have no choice but to be with you. I have declined invitations from friends several times and from developers wanting my company to be accredited to them. I have thought of inflicting pain to one of my co-brokers, but I'd rather not waste my energy thinking of her.

Hello, fellow Filipino! I used to not have allergies, but as of late, I've been sneezing a lot in the morning. It stops as lunchtime approaches. How to deal with it? I just let it out. Yes, I decline meeting invitations, especially if they're done out of the office and I still have deadlines to meet for the day. Besides, the ones asking me to go with them are the ones who are supposed to be the frontliners. You know what I mean? Inflict pain on my work mates? Not physically, though. My hands aren't that heavy to inflict pain.

@PapaBits you'll actually learn how to control your temper with boxing. Plus, if you do have concerns about hitting someone seriously, at least, you'll develop accuracy and power to hit the people you want to actually hurt!

Maybe it's your boss who wants to inflict pain on you because of your work habits. You'll have more excuses for not coming to work because of black eyes and bruises all over your body.

As for the allergy part, I get bad allergies all year long, which trigger my asthma so far the only thing to help moderately are Clartatin and Flonase. Which I'm reading you live in the Philippines and I don't know if the medicine there is different.
